Report on the realization of the Erasmus+ project

On February 25, 2026, at Kinoklub Zagreb, the participants of the mobility activities of the project Cineclub Zagreb and Europe: the advancement of members' knowledge for the development of the association's future educational programs, presented their insights and results of their job-shadowing activities.

As the main motivation for applying for funding was to enable our collaborators and employees to further their knowledge and education by getting to know the work of international organizations so we can further develop our own association's work on an organizational and program activity level as well as with the beneficiaries of our programs and resources, it was great to see the educational goals achieved.

The participants, and therefore the organization itself, connected with other organizations and gained knowledge about their governance, work and effect on their local community, further educated our collaborators with the purpose of developing new educational programs and finally promoted our association and the values of film amateurism abroad. Specifically, the organizations and the participants who visited them, were as follows:

The main results of the project are additionally educated staff and collaborators in the broader cultural area, the development of new educational programs, an established cooperation with organizations abroad and gained knowledge for developing the association’s capacities as well as the skills and competences of our collaborators.

Individually, the participants improved the following skills:

  • organizational skills in the area of association management

  • organizational skills in the area of workshop planning and realization

  • planning, selection and screening programming

  • archive and database organization and management

  • presentation and preservation of cultural heritage

  • interpersonal and communication skills relating to different demographic groups

  • learning new teaching methods and approaches in filmmaking programs

  • networking and collaboration with international organizations

What follows is the implementation of the gained knowledge in the further development of Kinoklub’s programs and activities, that has already started in February with the new Epistolary Film workshop, developed by Dubravka Kurobasa and the Oslo Fotokunstskole, whose goal is to connect young filmmakers from Norway with Kinoklub members/amateur filmmakers. Further implementation will follow through individual program activities and through a new cycle of strategic planning.
